The UC3M group of the PREFI-CM is looking for a research assistant with background in numerical simulation.
Job Description: The tasks to be performed by the candidate include the development of a computational tool to assess the embolic risk in the left atrium. This tool will includes the biochemical modeling of thrombus formation, as well as biomechanical modeling of chamber function.
Requirements: An Engineering degree. Background in the following fields will be appreciated: Applied Mathematics and Scientific Programming (preferably in python, Fortran), Fluid Mechanics. Good proficiency in English (oral & written).
